My choice of Patrick Watson songs will always remain at the top of my lists, because of the intricate beauties he projects through his creations. You cannot categorize his songs in any particular genre, you just have to soak them all in and enjoy listening. Patrick Watson's creations both in his song writing and the music have always enthralled listeners and transported them in a surreal world of past and present.

This new song 'Can't Stop Staring At The Sun' is no exception to the ingenious of Patrick Watson. The song and the video are part of the three piece single 'Mermaid In Lisbon' which came out in the month of May.
The video is directed and choreographed by Jacob Jonas, the video stars dancers Anthony Bryant, Gianinni, Semedo Moreira, and Nicolas Walton. One first listen to the song and watching the video, the listener will be actually staring at the Sun in the early morning, when we all start every brand new day. And that is significant when we realize that every morning there is hope for a new start, a better start and the Sun carries us through in it's light. That mood has been beautifully captured in this lovely dance video by Jacob Jonas.
